Critique by Isaac Farley
I think your topic is a good one and very applicable to this area. I question the placement of the health risks, maybe it deserves a more prominent position on the page because it's more important. Then again maybe it's just kind of a side topic and the main focus of the piece is to inform us about the causes of the inversion and the health stuff is just sort of a sidebar topic. Just something to consider. I feel like you're using a lot of text in the piece with the boxes at the bottom. I think you should strive to show the info and not just say it. More images in an infoGRAPHIC can help to illustrate the point and will probably make it more memorable. You can still have the boxed composition at the bottom, just don't fill them with text only, use charts, images, metaphors, illustrations and so forth. Not much else I can take issue with.
I like the way you've rendered the sketches by the way, I can tell what everything is with out looking at the labels.
My response to critique
I am still debating how to work with the information at the bottom. I do not have paragraphs of information I want to include so even if I did use mainly type, there would be large amounts of white/background space. Graphs may be something I should look at however. I will see what information I have and how it could potentially be portrayed in a more interesting way.
